Problem summary

    USERS AFFECTED:
All the MQ Managed .NET Client for Distributed Transactional
    applications.

    Platforms affected:
    Windows

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
WebSphere MQ Managed .NET Client, when enlisting into ambient
transaction was providing a new RMID every time. When there are
huge number of transactions, we have identified that MSDTC was
leaking memory. When MQ Managed .NET client enlisting into a new
transaction happens in a loop(that is making a MQ PUT/GET call
under new transaction scope), the memory leak is evident and can
be observed from Task Manager's process private bytes.

Problem conclusion

  • The MQ Managed .NET client code has been modified to use single
RMID for any number of transaction enlistments.

At version 7.5, this issue is resolved by applying IC92296
