Error description

  • If there are multiple cluster receiver channels or long
running (more than 30 days) cluster receiver channels that
are not in active use, the following FDC's may be generated
from the slave repository managers at hourly intervals.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The cluster metadata implementation did not support having
multiple cluster receiver channels for the same cluster on a
queue manager. Depending on configuration, this scenario
resulted in multiple FDCs from the slave repository managers
repeated every hour, starting with the first subscription
refresh time following the queue manager startup.

Problem conclusion

  • Change the slave cluster cache maintenance processing to remove
the order dependency on the cluster queue manager objects
referring to the same queue manager.

Temporary fix

  • Restarting the queue manager will resolve the repeated FDCs
until the next subscription refresh interval.
