Error description
Web Gateway and sample com.ibm.wmgfte.web.sample.war are deployed on Websphere Application server. Using Internet Explorer web browser to upload files through the web Gateway, no files are transfered. There is no error message. The file path used during the transfer is incorrect, here is an example of wrong path: "webuploads/c:\test.txt." The correct path should be "webuploads/test.txt."

**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition Version 7.0.4 and 7.5 Web Gateway Platforms affected: MultiPlatform **************************************************************** PROBLEM SUMMARY: When using some Internet Explorer versions, forms with file upload control submits the full path to the file being uploaded relevant to the browser machine. The upload then fails because the transfer fails.
Problem conclusion
