Error description
WebSphere MQ Java and Java Message Service (JMS) Version 7 clients fail to negotiate a connection with Version 5.1 and Version 5.2 queue managers. This can cause the channel negotiation to go into a loop. When a WebSphere MQ Version 7 client tries to access a Version 5.1 or 5.2 queue manager, the following message may appear in the queue manager log: 'AMQ9503: Channel negotiation failed'. When using the WebSphere MQ Version 7 MQ Explorer to manage Version 5.1 and 5.2 queue managers, the Explorer will receive an MQRC=2059 MQRC_Q_MGR_NOT_AVAILABLE error.
