JR60932: CANNOT GET PROJECT CONTENT FOR PROJECTS USING IAADMIN.SH

 

APAR status

Error description

  • Getting "Array Index Out of bound Exception" error when trying
to get project content of some of the projects created in
Information Analyzer, using IAAdmin.sh -getProject

Request sent: IAAdmin.sh -url <url add> -user username>
-password <pwd> -getProject -projectName <project name> -xml >
<Projectname>.xml

Error Msg: "Array Index Out of bound Exception"

This happens when there are File connector data connections
using local file systems

Local fix

  • Use ODBC Connector to connect to files in local file system.

Problem summary

  • Unable to export project if File connector data connection is
used to local file system.

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed in 1171 SP1
