Error description

  • Comparing data loaded from File Connector (thin client) against
data from database is returned java error null nested exception
is java lang NullPointerException

The issue can occur after files are imported via IMAM using
File Connector - Engine Tier option, and it is observed
that files imported via this method do not have metadata
defined. However, if files are imported via text dd driver the
issue does not occur

  • DataRule fails when joins are involved with  files imported
using  file connector  (with no metadata defined)  and  oracle
table

Problem conclusion

  • fixed in 11502sp2, 117101sp1
