Error description

• APAR JR59180 affecting DB2 connector disables schema
  reconciliation when Table Action is set to Create or Replace.
  This may lead to schema inconsistency between job design and
  database, when user defined "CREATE" statement is not in line
  with column definition.
  A warning appears like "Unmatched parenthesis character found
  at offset '-1' parsing SQL".
  Present APAR will address the problem described in JR59561 and
  will be applicable for both 11.7.0.0 and 11.7.0.1.

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  User using DB2 Connector with Table Action set to Create or
  Replace and user defined create statement that does not match
  columns set in connector.
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  DB2 Connector does not execute schema reconciliation when Table
  Action is set to Create or Replace. In cases when user sets
  create statement with columns not matching those set in
  connector, this can lead to job being reported as successful
  instead of failed.
  
  The problem was introduced by a change in APAR JR59180: IA job
  using DB2 connector fails after IIS upgrade to 11.7.

  Install patch for APAR ?JR59625.

Problem conclusion

• DB2 Connector has been modified to run schema reconciliation
  when Table Action is set to Create or Replace, to detect
  situations when user's create statement does not match the
  columns set in the connector.
