APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • This issue is specific to in-place upgraded environments, and
in these environments it is specific to tables on which MCPK was
previously run in version 11.5.0.2 and prior. This happens
because the table definition of the _MCPK result table is
different in those versions than what we currently have. We
don't recreate _MCPK table each time it is run, so the eventual
insert fails if the table was created with old definition.

Local fix

  •  MCPK is working in new tables and upgraded table with does not
exist mcpk results

Problem summary

  • MCPK Job fails on tables which have results from previous
release.

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed in 11.5.0.2 SP3
