Error description

  • Problem:
Netezza connector is not able to import metadata from the
database with disabled support for multiple schema
and schema name changed from its default value.
    Details:
When Netezza is configured with multiple schema support
disabled, the default schema name is the same as the owner name.
Also, renaming the schema is not allowed in such case. However,
user is able to temporarily enable multi schema support,
rename the schema, and disable multi schema support back again.
The connector is not handling such scenario correctly in its
    querying the database.
    Resolution:
The multiple schema support option is available since Netezza
    7.0.3 release.
Instead of checking support option value, connector checks
    Netezza database version.
For pre-7.0.3 releases, schemas have always default names.
For 7.0.3 and further releases, querying the database always
considers the case of multi schema support enabled.

Local fix

  • Define schema name same as the schema owner.
