Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: DB2 connector users loading non-ASCII data in 'server' type jobs using DEL file with DB2 client code page different from operating system code page on DataStage engine server. **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When bulk loading data into DB2 database using DB2 connector in a server job, preparation of delimited (DEL) data file for the load operation corrupts non-ASCII characters from input data. DataStage job finishes without error, but data in the database is corrupted. **************************************************************** RECOMMENDATION: Install APAR JR58369 patch. ****************************************************************
Problem conclusion
DB2 Connector has been fixed to correctly convert input text data and store it in the intermediate DEL data file.
