APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Threading issue in Parallel Engine message layer can cause
  intermittent job failures in Greenplum Connector jobs.
  The director logs show fatal errors as below:
  xfm_TableName,0: APT_PMMP::makeMessage: bad message on port
  (1,0) -
  header is {2}
  APT_PMMP::makeMessage: bad message on port (1,0) - header is {2}
  or
  xfm_TableName,0: Internal Error: (startOfRemainder <=
  currentInputPosition): processmgr/msgport.C: 1523
  

Local fix

• Try running GreenPlum stage in sequential mode.
  
  1. Open each GreenPlum Connector stage (including that of
     shared container) and in the Stage Properties, set it to
     execute in sequential mode.
  
  2. GreenPlum Connector properties -> Stage tab -> Advanced tab
     -> Execution mode - set to Sequential
  
  3. Compile and run the jobs.
