APAR status

Error description

  • Large metadata import using InfoSphere Metadata Asset Manager
with database as Microsoft SQL server causing import to fail
with below error:
java.sql.SQLException: [IBM][SQLServer JDBC
Driver][SQLServer]The incoming request has too many parameters.
The server supports a maximum of 2100 parameters. Reduce the
number of parameters and resend the request.

  • Large metadata import using IMAM with database as Microsoft sql
server causing import to fail with error

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • This issue is with sql server ,when the number of parameters
were more then 2100 it is throwing an error. As a solution we
are splitting the query into multiple chunks and execute.
