JR57898: DEPLOYMENT OF ISD JOB FAILS IN LIBERTY WAS WITH IISADMIN.SH ERROR when IIS not installed under "InformationServer" folder

Error description

• IS 11.5.x with Liberty WAS and IIS installed under a
  folder different that "InformationServer" fails
  when deploying an ISD job with the below example error message:
  
  
  "com.ibm.iis.isd.common.DeployFailedException: Cannot deploy the
  application.
  The following error was returned from the server: Cannot run
  program
  "/opt/IBM/InformationServer2/wlp/usr/servers/iis/ASBServer/bin/i
  isAdmin.
  sh": error=2, A file or directory in the path name does not
  exist.."
  

Local fix

• create the following example soft link:
  
  # cd /opt/IBM/InformationServer2/wlp/usr/servers/iis
  # ln -s /opt/IBM/InformationServer2/ASBServer/ ASBServer
  

Problem summary

• IS 11.3-11.5 (any FP) with WAS Liberty - and IIS installed
  under folder different than "InformationServer" (like for
  example
  /opt/IBM/InformationServer2), when trying to deploy an ISD job
   it fails with the message below:
  
  "com.ibm.iis.isd.common.DeployFailedException: Cannot deploy the
  application.
  The following error was returned from the server: Cannot run

  isAdmin.

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

• ISD Deployment code - under WAS Liberty - has a bug that it
  cannot find the iisAdmin.sh batch if IIS installed in a folder
  different than "InformationServer".
  Bug will be fixed in next available FP (probably 11.5.0.3).
  As a workaround, create a symb link, so that
  /opt/IBM/InformationServer2/wlp/usr/servers/iis/ASBServer/bin/ii
  sAdmin.sh can be found
  
  # cd /opt/IBM/InformationServer2/wlp/usr/servers/iis
  # ln -s /opt/IBM/InformationServer2/ASBServer/ ASBServer
