APAR status

Error description

  • DB2 Connector error cannot be used as partitioner
with the current DB2 client library: db2app.dll  after
installed DI RU1 patch

Local fix

  • Can run Sequential mode, but not parallel mode

All users using DB2 Connector

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
DataStage jobs writing or loading data to DB2 databases using
DB2 connector as paritioner fail with following error message:
"The DB2 connector cannot be used as partitioner with the
current DB2 client library: db2app.dll".

RECOMMENDATION:
Install patch JR57884
****************************************************************

Problem conclusion

  • Wrong reference to DB2 API was fixed in DB2 connector code.
