Error description
Migrating DRS Plugin to DRS Connector (Oracle flavor) cannot drop unmatched fields. The DRS Connector in Oracle mode always honors the job table schema. This APAR introduces an environment variable that allows the DRS Connector to override the job columns and drop the unmatched fields. Set the environment variable like this: CC_DRSORA_DROP_UNMATCHED_FIELDS=TRUE
Local fix
Manually remove the unmatched columns from the job -or- Replace the DRS Connector with an Oracle Connector and then set the "Drop unmatched fields" property to YES.

Comments
The DRS Plugin stage does not have any explicit field that allows an unmatched column to be dropped from the schema. When migrating a DRS Plugin stage to a DRS Connector stage, the property Usage/Session/DropUnmatchedFields does not exist. However, this property DOES exist on an Oracle Connector stage. This APAR introduced a new environment variable that can be set on the job level or project level to provide a value for the Usage/Session/DropUnmatchedFields property. The following values are defined: CC_DRSORA_DROP_UNMATCHED_FIELDS=TRUE CC_DRSORA_DROP_UNMATCHED_FIELDS=FALSE where TRUE means that the Oracle Connector (running under the DRS Connector) will not throw this error: "The input schema column <column-name> is not used and the connector is configured to stop when unused columns are detected in the input schema." Set the environment variable to FALSE or do not use it at all if you want the Oracle Connector (under DRS Connector) to throw the fatal error and abort the job when there are unmatched columns on the input link.
