Error description

  • Can recreate the problem with simplifed job with
    seq->transfomer ->(two outputs)
    Transformer with 2 output links.
    An
    If Then Else statement derivation in 2nd output link is
    generating incorrect result.
    The derivation is:
    IF lnk_sum_out.RCMP_ALL_NOTE_CT=1 then setnull() else
    DecimaltoDecimal(lnk_sum_out.RCMP_ALL_NOTE_CT)
    it returns null when is should return
    lnk_sum_out.RCMP_ALL_NOTE_CT.
     It does not appear to go into the if statement at all so it is
    not returning null because of the setnull() function.
    When the setnull() is replaced with a constant integer for
    testing purposes and it still returns null.
    The error is coming in cases where some of the columns are
    Null. Some transformer local null variables are being reused in
    another link without resetting them.
