JR55400: ABILITY TO CHANGE IADB TABLESPACE ON DB2 AT RUNTIME:

APAR status

  • Closed as suggestion for future release.

Error description

  • By default, a tablespace with the name IADBSPACE is created
with the installation of InfoSphere Information Server. The
tablespace is used to store the analysis results in the
InfoSphere Information Analyzer Database (IADB) on DB2. Users
can now create multiple tablespaces for IADB and switch to one
    of them at run time.
The command to switch DB2 Tablespace is:
        /opt/IBM/InformationServer/ASBServer/bin/iisAdmin.sh -set
    -key com.ibm.iis.ia.iadb.tablespace.name -value IADBSPACE_1
    (Linux)
        C:\IBM\InformationServer\ASBServer\bin\iisAdmin.sh -set
    -key com.ibm.iis.ia.iadb.tablespace.name -value IADBSPACE_1
    (Windows)

Comments

  • The IADB tablespace reached the max number of objects allowed
resulting in the customer being unable to run any further
analysis jobs until they deleted analysis results tables in the
IADB. We have ths fixed in 11.5rp1
