Error description
STATUS basic Statement does not retrieve information for FilePath Record<20> on accentuated characters with NLS. 20th element of the dynamic array returned by STATUS statement is documented as to be the Operating system filename = The internal pathname UniVerse (DSEngine) uses to access the file. This is an NLS issue as the same behaviour occurs with DataStage 7.5.1 with NLS.
Local fix
Use the FILEINFO function instead.
Problem summary
The STATUS BASIC statement takes the ELSE clause when NLS is enabled and the path of the open file contains accentuated characters.
Problem conclusion
Fixed code to prevent an incorrect mapping call.
Temporary fix
