Error description

  • STATUS basic Statement does not retrieve information for
FilePath Record<20> on accentuated characters with NLS.
20th element of the dynamic array returned by STATUS statement
is documented as to be the Operating system filename = The
internal pathname UniVerse (DSEngine) uses to access the file.
This is an NLS issue as the same behaviour occurs with
    DataStage 7.5.1 with NLS.

Local fix

  • Use the FILEINFO function instead.

Problem summary

  • The STATUS BASIC statement takes the ELSE clause when NLS is
enabled and the path of the open file contains accentuated
    characters.

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed code to prevent an incorrect mapping call.

Temporary fix
