Error description

• DS clients are still case sensitive even after applying JR51183.

  USERS AFFECTED:
  DataStage client users using LDAP authentication on systems
  where the username is case-insignificant
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Problem affected users after application of fix  JR51128. This
  allowed case-insignificant login for most components, but not
  the DataStage GUI clients. Logons failed for DataStage
  administrative users only, with the error message "The current
  user does not have the required DataStage roles set up"
  ****************************************************************
  RECOMMENDATION:
  Patch for this APAR should be installed on DataStage Windows
  client machines.
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• Changed a test in the Windows clients which was using the
  username as returned from ISF.
  

Temporary fix

• Log in ensuring the case of the username exactly matches the way
   it is defined in LDAP.
