Error description

  • The customer migrated the job from Information Server 8.7 to
Information Server 11.3 and the job aborted, because DataStage
Parallel jobs with shared lookup tables can fail when using SAME
partitioning.

Local fix

  • Change the partitioning on the Lookup stage from Same to Hash .

Problem summary

  • ERROR DESCRIPTION:
The customer migrated the job from Information Server 8.7 to
Information Server 11.3 and the job aborted, because DataStage
Parallel jobs with shared lookup tables can fail when using SAME
partitioning.

LOCAL FIX:
Change the partitioning on the Lookup stage from Same to Hash .

Problem conclusion
