Error description

  • When importing metadata using IMAM and DB2Connector, a table
    with DECFLOAT columns was being registered as unsupported
    datatype resulting in failure of importing the table.
    This was due to the missing support of DECFLOAT type during
    Bulk-MDI.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • IMAM importing metadata using BULK MDI feature of DB2Connector
    fails to import a table with DECFLOAT column.
    

Problem conclusion

  • When importing metadata using IMAM and DB2Connector in IIS 9.1,
    a table with DECFLOAT columns was being registered as
    unsupported datatype resulting in failure of importing the
    table.
    This was due to the missing support of DECFLOAT type during
    Bulk-MDI.
    
    DB2Connector now supports DECFLOAT type bulk-import via IMAM
