JR53300: IBM INFOSPHERE INFORMATION SERVICES DIRECTOR DOES NOT MAINTAIN the ORDER OF THE JOB PARAMETERS in WSDL LIKE THE DATASTAGE JOB

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In 11.3 the WSDL for the ISD jobs have changed such that the
  schema for the input and output are now separated into an xsd
  file.  In these xsd's the order of the columns are
  alphabetized.  this creates an issue for external programs
  attempting to access the web service
  
  This issue is typically noticed by customers who migrate from a
  previous version of Datastage and have an existing program in
  place to acces the WSDL.
  

Local fix

• Change the DataStage job design so that the input and output
  columns in the ISD stages are alphabetized.
  

Problem summary

• In ISD 11.3.x and 11.5.0.0, when an ISD service gets deployed,
  based on
  a DS job that has input/out parameters, the corresponding WAS
  WSDL file
  contains the list of the DS job parameters in alphabetical
  order.
  This differs from the order that the IS 9.1.x wsdl file used to
  provide,
  which listed the DS job parameters in their natural and original
  order.
  Due to the change in WAS version in IS 11.3.x and 11.5, the
  order of the parameters
  in the wsdl file has changed.
  

Problem conclusion

• The patch code provides a fix in the deployment request to
  create the
  wsdl/xsd file using the original order of the parameters in the
  DS job.
  Without such request, WAS provides an alphabetical order.
  This ISD patch needs to be installed on the IS services tier
  (domain).
  There are no additional changes required in DS or the DS job.
