• Data Masking stage job aborts with the following error when it
  runs using ODPP version 9.1
  
  IIS-CONN-DM-00163
  Data_Masking_3,0: Internal Error! ODPP returned error 4,409.
  Configuration is incorrect or installation of Data Privacy Pack
  is broken.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Data Masking stage job aborts with the following error when it
  runs using
    ODPP version 9.1.0.3
    IIS-CONN-DM-00163
    Data_Masking_3,0: Internal Error! ODPP returned error 4,409.
  Configuration
    is incorrect or installation of Data Privacy Pack is broken.
    When Data Masking stage is running with ODPP version 9.1.0.4,
  the following
    error is thrown instead.
    IIS-CONN-DM-00168
    Column /COL1: Initialization failed.

Problem conclusion

• This problem occurred because Data Masking stage was built
  without a compile option that Data Masking stage expects. Data
  Masking stage was passing a corrupted string to ODPP API due to
  the incorrect build.
  
  Data Masking stage code was changed to generate correct strings
  without the compile option.
