APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If the user modifies the key analysis primary key threshold
after running a multi-column primary key analysis job, and runs
a second multi-column primary key analysis job on a subset of
the columns used in first MCPK job, the modified primary
threshold is not taken into account and new candidate
multi-column combinations that have uniqueness percentage above
the modified threshold (and should display int the MCPK resuls)
are not displayed in the MCPK results.

Local fix

  • The workaround is to run MCPK on the original set of selected
columns after modifying the Primary Key Threshold.
