  • The failure returned the following error from XMETA as "
com.ascential.xmeta.exception.data.DataLengthConstraintViolation
Exception: A data length constraint was violated on attribute
"shortDescription". The maximum allowed length is 255, but the
length of the value is 382"

Problem conclusion


    

  • Prior to this APAR fix, the description of an input link was
limited to 255 characters. Now it is possible to use a long
description for an input link as well.

    



Temporary fix


    

  • Use descriptions that are less than 255 characters.
