JR51101: PARALLEL ENGINE COMPLEX FLAT FILE (CFF) STAGE FAILS READING DECIMAL DATA ON SOME NON-ENGLISH INSTALLATIONS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Reading ASCII file (sequential file stage) and writing to a
  EBCDIC file (cff stage).   When  put a DECIMAL field (in input)
  to produce an BCDIC COMP-3 field (in the output), the job keeps
  running.  Job has be manually aborted after a few minutes.
  

Local fix

• If the DECIMAL field is removed, the job finished OK.
