Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • On Suse 11, uvsh and other executables under Server/DSEngine/bin
such as smat and list_readu take a memory fault when TERM is set
to putty-256color.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Prevent a memory fault when reading the system's terminal
information file, /usr/share/terminfo/p/putty-256color.

    



Temporary fix


    

  • Don't set TERM to putty-256color.
