Error description
Excel has issue opening the file, because each Value within the Set includes a delimiter, rather a single pair of delimiters surrounding the set of values as such: "[Value1;Value2;Value3]" ** All values are included within square brackets [ and ] ** All values are seperated by a semi-colon ; ** All values may be encases within a qualifier. Qualifiers are double-quotes " Thus - the following sample may be seen in the export: ["Value1";"Value2";"Value3"] Excel has issue opening the file, because each Value within the Set includes a delimiter, rather a single pair of delimiters surrounding the set of values as such: "[Value1;Value2;Value3]"
Local fix
The customer can attempt to manually update the export file - in a TEXT EDITOR (do not do this in Excel) and alter the Delimiters before opening the File in Excel. When a Double-Quote is included in any of the Values - the Double-Quote is represented as """ (3 double-quotes - where the quote is surrounded by the Delimiter)
Problem summary
The format used by MWB when exporting Custom Attributes which include multiple values, did not allow the customer to open the File in Excel.
Problem conclusion
Applying the patch rollup_RU3_MWB_all_8700-1 will resolve the issue
Temporary fix
