JR45583: Job with user SQL fails to optimize due to different case sensitivities of column names in query and stage level names

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Optimization fails when upper/lower case in column name is
  dfferent.
  
  The job provided by the customer has input Netezza Stage with a
  "User defined Query "  ------>  "select col1 from GYH001" where
  as in the schema part declared under "Columns tab " the
  corresponding column is mentioned as "COL1" (In Upper case ) .
  This is the root cause of optimization failure  as optimizer is
  having a issue to recognize and  parse the column names from the
  "select " query .
  

Local fix

• declare the Column as "col1"(Lower case ) in columns tab (or)
  rewrite the select query as "select COL1 from tab1" (Just to
  make sure that column name in the select query and columns tab
  are same and have same case )
  

Problem summary
