JR44761: Columns with the Format as NA (length > 50, all values Spaces, etc) are not listed as candidates for Cross Domain Analysis.

 

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When the length of the "Combination name" column, including
    the default pipe separators, is 51 bytes or over, IA will NOT
    find the FK pair.

  • Fix provided in rollup_RU11_IA_ALL_8502, rollup_RU7_IA_ALL_8702
    

Problem summary

  • IA is designed such that   columns  having  format  N/A  are not
    considered  for  cross domain analysis
    

Problem conclusion

  • Column with  format N/A  are considered as  valid base /pair  in
    Cross domain  analysis .  Hence   this issue is resolved by
    adding an additional filter  to choose  columns of N/A  format
    in  Cross domain analysis.
