APAR status

Error description

• Running the command:
  
   ./ProcessEnvVariables.sh -directory
  /opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/Projects/proj1 -domain
  mydomain-port 9080 -username isadmin -password secret
  
  Witha DSParams file containing an environment variable those
  default value is greater than 255 bytes in length. The command
  fails with the following:

  com.ascential.xmeta.exception.data.DataLengthConstraintViolation
  Exceptio
  n: A data length constraint was violated on attribute "value".
  The
  maximum allowed length is 255, but the length of the value is
  329. The  value is  .......
  

Local fix

• Truncate the length of enviornment variable values to be less
  than 256 characters
  

Problem summary

• PROCESSENVVARIABLES.SH fails when the env variables value is
  greater than 255 characters
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix for this issue is available in JR44040. The fix is to
  truncate the extra characters that are beyond 255.
