Error description

  • BG 8.7 Layout issue on AIX:
Logo Image is overlapping Text

I also tested it with FireFox 14.0.1.  Steps taken:

- Open BG
- Click on the Search link
- Use Ctrl(+) to increase the font size.

This puts pressure on the Layout Manager to make it all fit.
The height of the test field to the right of the logo is
increased, but it also overlaps the logo.  Since the height of
the text box (number of rows) is increased to accommodate the
text, the width should also be calculated to avoid overlapping
the logo.

Local fix

  • Use smaller font

Problem summary

  • Logo Image is overlapping Text.

Problem conclusion

  • Correction made in CSS to prevent the logo from overlapping
text. Install Pacth
