JR42272: Oracle OCI Load stage truncating long table names in Manual mode

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer upgrade from datastage v7.5.1A to v8.7.
  The v7.5.1A does not generate schema name for the ctl file.
  The v8.7 using user id as schema for table when generate the ctl
  file.
  Also the name for table is getting long and truncate.
  

Local fix

• Manually fix the ctl file
  

Problem summary

• Oracle OCI Bulk Load Plugin stage is truncating the table name
  in bulk load mode. The stage is assuming the table name will not
  exceed 62 characters in length. This is a correct assumption
  unless extra parameters are used with the table name in the
  stage GUI.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix is to allow the maximum number of characters as allowed
  in the stage GUI.
