  • DataStage InfoSphere 8.7 on win08
Ensured \windows\system32\drivers\etc\services file has
dstelnet 2300/tcp #DataStage engine telnet

Then try entering NLS.ADMIN via:
C:\IBM\InformationServer\Server\DSEngine>.\bin\uv

  • The issue is due to the failure while converting network-address
to string-format. The same is fixed now.
