Problem summary
Users Affected: Users of Oracle Connector jobs where there is a BINARY / RAW column combined with either some type of string (eg, VARCHAR) or DECIMAL column in the same record could encounter the glibc. Problem Description: When running an Oracle Connector job where there is (a) a BINARY column and (b) either a VARCHAR column (a string type) or a DECIMAL column, a shared buffer is accidently deleted by the Connector Framework due to an uninitialized variable.
Problem conclusion
This APAR patch contains the change where Oracle Connector initializes the variable that tells the Connector Framework not to delete the buffer.
