  • Webservices gets lock error - MetaTable class will not release
the session lock

Problem summary


    

  • When multiple designer client sessions are opened
and when a second user tries to access the table definitions the
issue will be seen.  The web services table definitions will be
locked for a second user when they click on load web service
operation.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix is made to dispose the metaTable object
when it is no longer needed.
Now the user will not see a lock error.

    



Temporary fix


    

  • Apply the patch JR39763
