Error description

  • Numerically-bound columns (e.g. Integer, Smallint, etc.)
are not retrieved by DRS ODBC on zlinux platform. These same
columns when bound to strings (e.g. varchar) work correctly.

Local fix

Problem summary


    

  • Numerically bound columns were not being retrieved by ODBC API,
leaving the initialized value of "0" intact.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • DRS ODBC was never built correctly for ZLinux. Required
compilation flag was added to the makefile.
