JR39725: THE MQ CLIENT PLUGIN LIBRARIES ARE NOT COPIED DURING THE INSTALLATION OF THE PLUGIN ON LINUX64 PLATFORM

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When installing Information Server 8.5 on Linux64 platform,
  after selecting the MQ Client plugin at the time of the
  installation, the libraries are not copied to the
  $ISHOME/../DSComponents/bin directory.
  Also, the installation program reports successful completion.
  

Local fix

• The MQ Client plugin libraries (mqsco*) can be copied from the
  location
  $DSHOME/../StagingArea/Installed/MQSeries/Server/linux64 under
  the Information Server home to the $DSHOME/../DSComponents/bin.
  

Problem summary

• While installing the Information Server on Linux64 platform,
  even after selecting the MQ Client plugin at the time of the
  installation, the libraries are not getting copied under the
  $ISHOME/../DSComponents/bin. However, the installation completes
  successfully.
  

Problem conclusion

• Corrected the Deploy.xml of the MQ Client plugin to correctly
  copy the mqsco* libraries during the installation of the MQ
  Client plugin.
  

Temporary fix

• The MQ Client plugin libraries (mqsco*) can be copied from the
  location
  $DSHOME/../StagingArea/Installed/MQSeries/Server/linux64 under
  the Information Server home to the $DSHOME/../DSComponents/bin.
