JR39647: When sharing sequential file table definitions, the attach point of the files is incorrect

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• problem with sharing sequential files table definitions.
  when sharing files definitions, after the first file, all the
  other files shared to the same folder get attached under the
  first file and that makes the discovery of the definitions very
  hard.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• CAS 8.1 ignores path string when identifying the DataFile
  objects on the repository. Identity of DataFile objects should
  be <<identity:name:path:hostedBy_HostSystem>>.
  
  As result, the customer cannot create DataFile object with same
  name and different path name.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix was made to the Table Sharing Wizard handling of
  Sequential Files resolving an attach point problem in the common
  repository.  Because of this, you would be recommended to
  re-create your shared sequential file metadata if using this
  feature of the product, and previously experienced problems with
  shared Tables attaching to the wrong Data Files.
