  • DataStage Parralel job is receiving the following error:

Message Id:-1
Message: Failed to connect to JobMonApp on port 13401

This message cannot be handled by the Message handler because
the Message ID -1 is not valid.  The fix will list the correct
Message ID of "DSTAGE_RUN_E_0388"

Problem summary


    

  • PX job intermittently receiving warning: Failed to connect to
JobMonApp on port 13401.The warning can't be suppressed with the
Message Handler.

  • Modified the server to handle the message.
