APAR status

• Closed as suggestion for future release.

Error description

• Enhancement Request Information Analyzer - Generate Schema
  Definition Column Ordering
  
  Information Analyzer > Publish Analysis Results > Generate
  Schema Definition > Generate DDL
  
  The DDL is generated successfully however the original column
  ordering is lost.
  
  Ideally when generating a DDL the columns should be ordered
  according to the "Sequence Number" seen in the Column Analysis
  tab
  The "Generate Inforsphere Model Definitions PDR" function does
  result in a model definition in the metadata repository with
  correct column ordering.

• None other than manually re-ordering the columns once created

• Upgrade to Information Analyzer 8.7.
  The following behavior was introduced:
  1) Generated DDL will have the columns in the same order as the
  source data.
  2) Generated PDR model in repository will also have the same
  order.
