When user clicks on the "..." button to display the projects,
the following error is seen in the "IBM InfoSphere Connector
Migration Tool" command line window:

The tool fails to continue.  This exception occurs since the
Connector Migration Tool 8.5 does not support SSL connection to
the server.

Problem summary


    

  • Connector Migration Tool fails to connect to SSL-configured
Information Server 8.5 due to the following exception:
  javax.security.auth.login.LoginException:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Cannot find the specified
class com.ibm.websphere.ssl.protocol.SSLSocketFactory
        at
com.ascential.acs.security.auth.client.AuthenticationService.get
LoginException(AuthenticationService.java:987)

 com.ibm.ws.security.crypto.jar is missing from the boot
classpath of this tool.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The Connector Migration Tool has been modified to add required
JAR file to the classpath.
