APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • As part of a previous APAR=JR30121. An enhancement was provided
to allow the dsexport.exe to export jobs and not include
dependant jobs with the use of /NODEPENDENTS option.

However, this option only appears to work when exporting to dsx
files and NOT working when export to XML files.

Problem summary


    

  • dsexport.exe /JOB /XML always includes dependent objects.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Modified the client by adding /NODEPENDENTS option for /XML.
