Problem summary


    

  • Current algorithm for handling osh transfer adapter results in
duplicate fields.  Example:

[transfer(inRec renames A as B, B as A)]

Field "A" is dropped and field "B" is added.  Subsequently, "B"
would be dropped and "A" added, but before that can happen, job
aborts with a duplicate field ("B" was added at a time when it
was already there).

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Fix is to start with a blank schema and add the new names of the
fields (as well as ignore any fields that are being dropped).
