JR37956: FASTTRACK 8.1.2 FP3 MAPPING SPEC EXPORT CSV SOURCE COLUMN EMPTY FROM A MAPPING CONTAINER. WORKS WITH USUAL TABLE/COLUMNS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When the source columns are from a Mapping container, the CSV
  field is blank in resulting CSV file.  No error's are generated
  by the system.  Must open file to see symptoms.
  
  Create a shared container in DataStage that has output.
  In FastTrack, add the shared container as a mapping component.
  Use some of the output fields of the mapping component (shared
  container) as source columns in a mapping specification.
  Use the mapping specification for export to CSV.
  
  Open the CSV file.  The source columns that are from the mapping
  component will be blank.
