Error description

  • DataStage CommonConnectors should support re-try logic when DB
connection is dropped. This is to support WISD/RTI/RealTime jobs
which run 24/7 and hold persistent connections to source/target
    databases

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Add the ability to reconnect and disconnect functions.

Reconnect function - If a connection fails, then an attempt will
be made to re-establish the connection.
Disconnect function - An 'inactivity timeout' can be specified
with results in a connection being disconnected after it has
been inactive for a given time. When the connection is
subsequently required, then the connection is re-established.
