PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
dsjob -logdetail with the -wave 0 option occasionally produced
incorrect information. Upon investigation this appeared to be
due to assumptions made regarding the event ID of the last event
for a job run.

RECOMMENDATION:
Apply patch

Problem conclusion

  • Modified the code to explicitly collect the last event ID for a
job run.
