APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• MQ Connector failed to run with Remote Config file
  
  ETL job fails when blocking transaction processing is used

Problem summary

  MQ connector users

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  DataStage job with MQ connector fails when it cannot connect to
  queue manager from conductor process.
  
  ****************************************************************
  RECOMMENDATION:
  Apply the patch, or configure the MQ connection from the node
  where conductor process runs.
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• Code fixed to ignore the connection error from conductor and
  conductor process uses default setting.
  When the environment is configured with multiple nodes, the
  connection from conductor is not necessary.
  Only the connections from player process are needed.
  This should not affect the any conversion done by player
  processes.
  

Temporary fix

• Configure the MQ connection from the node where conductor
  process runs.
