APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Problem with data truncation resulting in the error message:
  
  APT_CombinedOperatorController(3),0: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server
  Driver]String data, right truncation
  
  This occurs with either Data Direct or Microsoft driver.
  

Local fix

• removing the extended Unicode column attribute from the two
  columns that are used as the lookup key.
  
  This fix is included in 8.0.1 fix pack 3

Problem conclusion

• The bind length for lookup keys of UString type was not set
  correctly resulting in error 'String data, right truncated'
  Modified code to set the correct bind length for lookup keys of
  UString data type.
