JR36090: ADDED 1 COLUMN ONTO ORACLE ENTERPRISE STAGE IS NOT OUTPUT TO THE GENERATED JOB REPORT.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer has the following job, Oracle EE ---> Transformer --->
  Oracle EE.
  When adding a new column "TUIKA" on Oracle_Enterprise_21, then
  adding the column on Oralce_enterprise_24 and modifying
  Transformer_27 at last, the added column "TUIKA" is displayed on
  Oracle_enterprise_21 stage.
  But if generating a report ([File] - [Generate Report]), it does
  not include the information of "TUIKA". But if selecting "Auto
  generation UPDATE & INSERT" again from "Upsert mode" on
  [Properties] tab of Oracle_Enterprise_21 and compiling the job
  and regenerating the report, the report shows "TUIKA" correctly.
  So Oracle EE knows the update of the column but it is not
  informed when generating a report.
  
  And the customer is willing to be solved the following problem
  too (crm 67892,999,760):
  if generating a report
  from [File] - [Generate report] on DS Designer,
  we get the following output:
  In this case, both upper case and lower case is used for 2
  columns SksKjnYmd and DwhKsnYmd.
  But in the same report for Target Stage, those column names are
  displayed with upper case like this:
  

Local fix

• reselecting "AUTO generation UPDATE & INSERT" on Oracle EE
  stage, but it is not acceptable for the end-user.
  

Problem summary

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When reporting on parallel jobs with template properties used in
  stage types, these properties are not being updated in reports
  unless "touched" by opening up stage editors.  The compiled
  (OSH code) however contains the correct information.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Install patch JR36090
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• The patch changes the compiler to update these template
  properties in the job designs, allowing the job reporting to
  pick-up the correct information.
